Joe Folk graduated from Towson University in Maryland in 1985. He grew up deeply-rooted in the hospitality industry and has more than 23 years of experience in hospitality management. In his previous positions, Joe was the corporate catering director for AVI Foodsystems and general manager of the Hoover Lodge and Hoover Park property in Canton and North Canton, Ohio.

As the general manager of The University Center, Joe provides vision and leadership for the center’s employees and staff and directs its day-to-day food service, conference center and special events operations. He is also a member of the senior administration team of Kent State University Stark Campus.
